Hi, I’m Ore!
I’m a cybersecurity analyst in the day and a blogger by night. You may be wondering why a security analyst is building a financial learning community. Hmmm… true that! However, what do I do with a passion for technology and finance?
Growing up, the talk was “go to school, get a good job, buy a car and a house, retire at 60…” – this is the traditional way we have all been taught.
No conversations were centering on investments, early retirement, or even financial independence. Nevertheless, I was taught focus and hard work pay off and planning was required to succeed.
Really, growing one’s personal finance can start at any stage of life, though earlier is better; the best time to start may have been many years ago, the next best time is now!
Why this blog?
In 2020, I graduated college with -$15,000 in student loan debt right in the middle of the Covid19 pandemic. I had my “big girl” job and quickly realized I needed to get my money sh*t together. I delved deeper into how to start investing early and making my money work for me so that I can become financially independent.
I’m not here to sell you B.S – straight up! My goal is to empower women of all ages with the knowledge and the right tools to grow wealth and achieve ultimate success.
From my experience and research with searching for tools and resources to learn about financial literacy, I realized that there’s not a one-stop-shop that has all the information; that’s why I’m building one!
I want to create a community where all the important branches of wealth are covered and all members can learn and grow by helping each other.
